WHY WOULD I CHOOSE HOME VISITS?
Home visits are a more personalized experience than many small animal practices can offer, especially now that most are owned by large corporations.
Home visits are also much more convenient and comfortable. Most pets prefer to stay at home. Appointments are blocked out for at least an hour, and the owners are with their pets the entire time.
My clients feel comfortable contacting me directly with questions or concerns. I help guide my clients in potential emergency situations and refer whenever it is in their pet's best interest. If the treatment is outside of the scope of a home visit, I will help connect my clients with the best specialists and make appointments on their behalves. I work closely with the specialists and makes sure my clients understand their pet's care.
WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR A VISIT?
There are various types of visits. Wellness visits are not urgent. We can find a time that fits in both of our schedules. Urgent visits encompass both sickness and accidents. If your pet has current discomfort (vomiting, scratching, etc.) and must be seen quickly, the charges reflect the priority of the visit. Progress appointments are to recheck a previously diagnosed condition. Sometimes, these can be done via telemedicine. Emergency visits are during evening hours or any type of serious event where your pet must be seen immediately.
